RULES

During 16 of the 18 weeks in the NFL regular season, each player selects two teams they think will win that week's games. The player receives wins, losses and ties corresponding with those team's results. Ties are considered a LOSS. However, once a player selects a team during the course of a season, the player may not pick that team again for the remainder of the regular season. Players are ranked by their winning percentage for the entire season, and prizes are awarded accordingly.  Picks are due by Saturday evening at 9pm EST.  If you can't make your picks online, we encourage to send the pool manager an email before 9pm EST indicating your picks and he can make them for you.

You may pick the two teams playing each other that week. Finally, If you pick a team and the game is suspended and/or canceled, you'll be assessed a loss.  That is a tough one to swallow.

BYE WEEKS

During TWO weeks of the season, the player may declare a 'BYE' week by submitting "BYE" picks for that week. Players may choose any week of the season they want, but must take a BYE week twice before the end of the season.  BYE weeks will be used for the 1st two missed pick deadlines. (See DEADLINES)

DEADLINES

The deadline for each week is Saturday at 9pm. IT IS THE PLAYER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO MEET THE DEADLINE, NOT THE COMMISSIONER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO REMIND PLAYERS. If a player misses a deadline, the BYE week will be selected for them if they have not already selected a BYE.  If a player repeatedly misses a deadline after having already taken a BYE another BYE is registered for that week.

PRIZES

The amount and number of prize winners for the season will be determined by The Commissioner. All Entry fees are required to be paid before the 1st game of the season.  If an entry is not received prior to the start of week 1 the player will be suspended.  Most entry fees have been collected and placed in an old pickle jar and placed under our deck for safe keeping.

TIE BREAKERS

After the completion of the season, the Commissioner will pick one game in the first round of the playoffs to be used as a tiebreaker for each set of ties. Those players tied for a money position with the number of wins during the season being the sole determining factor only will submit their predictions for the game winner, the total points scored, and combined total offensive yardage. The tie will be broken in the following order:

FIRST TIE BREAKER: Correct winner
SECOND TIE BREAKER: Closest to total points scored (Can be over or under)
THIRD TIE BREAKER: Closest to total offensive yardage (Can be over or under)

If there is still a tie, the prize money for the tied positions will be split evenly among those still tied.
